My yellow lab does the same thing… pulls out all the cotton. I only get them on clearance and for special occasions, like her birthday!

My shepherd mix does the same and he’s darn proud of himself when he’s finished de-stuffing his toys. I go to the goodwill and get him toys. They usually price stuffed animals between $ .99 – $2.00. That way he gets toys all the time and I don’t go broke replacing his dead toys. I often buy squeakers and sew them in for additional fun.

Our 10-month-old blue heeler does that too! I keep hoping she’ll grow out of it but we’re probably not going to be that lucky 🙂
