When our second rescue dog was new to our house, she ate five uncooked slices of bacon that were on the counter. On dr’s advice, I gave her the right amt of hydrogen peroxide to make her vomit (to avoid pancreatitis). I took her outside, where she threw up within three minutes. The bacon was still WHOLE – she hadn’t even chewed it! Zoinks! However, she’s learned since then and no longer jumps on the counter or eats what’s not allowed.
