I have a greyhound as well and he does the same goes through my bathroom garbage cuz thats the only one he can reach he loves qtips and toilet paper tubes >.<

My dog loves Q-tips also! I don’t know what it is. I got a bathroom waste basket with a lid on it, but she figured out how to push the lever with her paw to open the lid. So, now I turn the waste basket around facing the other way wedged between the toilet and cabinet. She has been Q-tip free for over a year now!!
