Yawning is a calming signal from dogs so if your dog is a bit scared of cameras (and many are) this may be his way of releasing the stress. So cute! My dog yawns the same way and her mouth looks abnormally large for her face.

I think my dog uses yawns, and belches, as a form of communication. when he is very happy he lets his tongue dangle – puts it way outside his mouth and just lets it hang – happy, happy dog. I think yours is smiling.
